I am wondering how to delete possible corrupted Prefs file?
MacBookPro running Mojave 10.14.2 - neXt v 1.549
keyboard shortcuts - all working except for "p" key

unfortunately for me the sim is stuck in self levelling mode omg (:( and "p" key is null on this computer (function 'p' works on 2nd Mac) - all other shorts are working? keyboard itself works fine for p

How to delete a corrupt local settings file?

Hi,

I guess you have configured a switch or your transmitter to these function. Please take a look into Settings > Input Device and there the Functions tab. Click onto the arrow if there is anything assigned in the line 'Self Levelling'. These settings are always overriding the keyboard inputs.

How to find the preferences file of the neXt on OSX 10.7 and higher:
- Activate the Finder (right click onto the desktop).
- Hold down the 'alt' key (or shift key) and select in the pulldown menu 'Go to' the location 'Library'.
- Browse to the 'Preferences' directory:
Library/Containers/com.Eiperle-CGM.CGM-rc-helicopter-Simulator/Data/Library/Preferences/
- Delete or rename the file 'cgm.Eiperle-CGM.CGM-rc-helicopter-simulator.plist'. This file contains the user settings.
- Sometimes it's necessary to delete the complete folder:
Library/Containers/com.Eiperle-CGM.CGM-rc-Heli-Simulator
This folder will automatically be generated on restart of neXt.

This file contains the user settings (neXt v 1.45 and higher):
- Macintosh HD/Users/Your User Name/Library/Containers/com.Eiperle-CGM.CGM-rc-Heli-Simulator/Data/neXt/prefs.ini

All the best,
Klaus

thanks - well had assigned autorotation to a switch (not level) - but it seemed to have assigned a diff function for that switch to the next item which was s/leveling (off my screen) - this seems to be a bug if the window is viewed cropped - it repeatable with function switch assignment - if the window is pulled bigger then this type of mis-assign does not occur. 10.14.2
