Aileron/Pitch delay

Hello everyone!

I have a problem with cyclic delay.
It seems like angular acceleration is not fast enough. I will explain in detals. In real life I have logo 700 and 300 deg/s ail/ele angular rates (measured by video). In Next sim I am using logo 700 model too with the same angular rates. But it feels like I have lack of angular acceleration. The problem appears while sharp side tick tocks and especially on sharp half rolls. In real life for the same movement I make 1/4 of roll but in the sim only 1/8. With ending target speed is okay 300 deg/s in real life and in the sim. Due to this effect the heli feels very heavy like with delay on servos.

I have Interlink Elite and V-control. Tried using both for sim. No difference.

I tried to reduce inertia of heli to 0.001. Yes, It becomes faster but angular acceleration still the same or it feels like with no difference.
I also tried to change Power Cyclic/Rudder parameter to 10 and decreased ail/ele rates in order to have 300 deg/s rates. Finaly I have the same delay.
Tried to decrease angular inertia from 16 to 1 and compensated (decreased) ail/ele rates in order to have real rates. The same.

Maybe the reason for delay is in input device, but not sure. as well as the reason in PC performance. I will attach my PC set up.

Could anyone help me to increase angular acceleration with saving the same angular rates?

PC configuration:
Intel Core i7-4770K
GeForce GTX 760
16 GB RAM

Hello Dmitriy,

Go to Settings> Input Device and set Deadzone to 0.
Then go to the tab Model and reduce Expo Elevator/Aileron.

Is the Elevator/Aileron Gyro Gain 100%? Can you improve something with this parameter?

Do you use some kind of cyclic bump in your V-Stabi software?

All the best,
Klaus

Hello Klaus,

Yes, gyro gain was 60%. I increased it to 100% and heli became closer to my real one. I need some time to practice a little bit more in sim and in real life to figure out differences. But now cyclic behavior is very close to real. Thank you very much!

I left deadzone 0 as my Interlink has a little "noise" in control channels and its okay.

In real life I use a little value of paddle sim. I suppose its like pitch pump but for cyclyc as I have very poor cyclcyc brake dynamics in real with default V-Stabi parameters. Maybe this parameter adds some additional rate in the beginning of sharp maneuver. I would like to measure it in real flight but I have only my camera from my measuring tools list and I am able to measure only average angle rates:)
