Licence not recognised

Hi
Just updated to the latest software version and now can only access the demo. I have had this problem before but can't quite remember what I did to resolve it.
I have deleted the file Documents\neXt\prefs.ini and also deleted Documents\neXt, but it still won't accept my I.D number. When I try and register, it states that the I.D number is wrong? the I.D number is right and is already filled in the required box i just have to enter the password but it still states that the I.D is wrong

Hi John,

you own a neXt v1.x license and have probably overlooked the update note on the download page for the v2.x.

After 9 years with many free v1.x updates, we have updated to version 2. You can upgrade your v1.x to v2.x license at an additional cost. Or of course reinstall the old version.

Hope you can understand that I should earn money for these full-time job. I'm not rich and I think I'll never get rich because I'm too honest. There are 4 brand new helicopters in the pipeline and I like to add them to the simulator. The next update is coming in a week or two and will bring an F3N helicopter ... :-)

It's not just a minor update. With a v2.x license you will continue to receive the monthly updates.

Yes you’re right I hadn’t noticed so will try to re-install, how much is it to upgrade?

Just checked and can see now so will try and re-install the old version for now. Is there any way to stop it informing me that an update is available?

yes, in Settings > Misc, option Show Product Updates
