Camera - Ground in view?

First off, I really like this simulator for heli flying. But, my issue is with the camera functioning to keep the ground in view.
I know this is a difficult issue, but it doesn't seem to work much at all. I like to practice FAI aerobatics, and I can't ever judge my position or lines when the ground is mostly absent from view. I've tried zooming way out, etc. But can't find a workable setting. Again, this function doesn't really work great in any sim, but some are a little better. I sure part of the issue is that our machines are so small that you can't seem them if you let the "zoom" go far enough out to keep the ground perspective. I can't see much difference when I turn the check box for ground in view, on or off,

Sam

Hi Sam,

the only thing that helps here is a 4K monitor, field of view 44 ° and ground in sight activated. Of course, you won't see any difference while there is no way to show the ground. For example, if you fly too high.

The simulator does not zoom out to get the ground into your view. I don't like that because it makes the model much smaller.

A VR device helps a lot here, as you move the view with your head, but the image resolution is not high enough to train FAI. In fact, some things can only be trained in reality.

All the best,
Klaus
