Hi,

the Unity3d programmers release nearly each week new VR libraries. I take them and do updates as often as possible. These VR stuff is still in development. I don't know what's wrong in your case. Seems like a V-Sync problem. Is there a setting you can change on your side?

All the best,
Klaus

I have to recheck again but I got the same when i downloaded the update (the one after the first Vive release from about a couple days (weeks) ago.
FPS are fine but the heli jumps around in the air choppy (even at 90 FPS)

Can you switch off the 'keep ground in sight' option in Camera tab?

i updated my drivers, updated steam, turned off keep ground in view.
still, i am seeing two aircraft when things get moving.

i have a 1070, 6700 skylake, 64 gb mem. the only thing i built this machine for is games.

anyway, i love this sim. at the moment i can't use it :-(

While you don't use an VR device, you should use the regular version of neXt. And then it's important if neXt is running full screen or not. While running in a window, you should switch on V-Sync in your graphic card driver setup and of course V-Sync on in neXt graphic tab. While you let it run in full screen, you should switch off v-sync in neXt and set the target frame rate to 120 fps.

oh,, i also tried lowering my screen resolution. my screen is at 4k 30hz, but my vive is at 90hz. i though maybe that was an issue. it wasnt'.
i also turned on vsyn, because i was getting a message that too many frames were being generated (or something). that didn't help either.

i am running the Vive Headset. How can I get the previous version? I am afraid I overwrote mine when I did the update. I have tried everything. I can run it on my monitor, but, not on the vive. My vive does work for all my other games.

Edit: The issue is gone. I changed nothing!
It must've been some outside windows update that goes automatically.
Just booted up the latest version. Set up controls and it works as usual.

well, i tried everything to get my vive workingt again, reinstalled drivers, set everything to default, etc. still seeing that double vision (even with one eye closed). so, i started going back in my download history trying the older versions. version 1.454 works great! so, i will just stick with this one until whatever is going on gets worked out.
