Hello,

I'm running Windows 10 Pro. I've noticed that after running the NeXt application my windows 10 screen saver no longer works. Is there a fix for this?

Hi Nick,

apparently your screensaver won't start while an application is running. It is possible that the screen saver has options for this. My simulator cannot control this. You should exit the simulator when you are not at the computer.

Hi Klaus,

Well, the problem with my screensaver not working only occurs after I've run the NeXt software. It's as opening the software somehow corrupts my Windows screen saver and power settings. After I close the NeXt sim and/or restart my PC. My screensaver and power setting don't operate normally. When using the NeXt software, I experience no trouble.

I'm thinking their must be a solution to restoring my screensaver and power settings after using the software?

Hi Nick,

I don't change the screensaver settings or even the power settings. Does your graphics card driver have a built-in feature that won't interrupt a running game?

Maybe the Unity3D libraries have this feature. You should generally exit the simulator like this: Press Esc and then click the Quit Sim button in the top left area.

Hi Klaus,

I'm not sure whether my graphics driver has such a feature? Is there a way to determine such? If so, what could this mean?

I do keep my drivers up to date. Running a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti.

Hi Klaus,

Some news.. I decided to turn my screen saver off before opening the application, then closed the application by pressing Esc then clicking on Quit Sim. I then reactivated my screensaver and it works.
