You have installed an update and neXt won't work anymore? neXt starts with a blank screen or you see only a Mono runtime error?

-> These error occures when you don’t uninstall the old neXt. Before installing a MSI version of neXt, uninstall the old one if there is an uninstaller in ‚C:Program Files (x86)/neXt‘ folder. That’s not needed in future updates. Only this time. When you uninstall neXt, all your user data, registration info and sceneries don’t get lost.

I had to switch from EasySetup installer to Microsoft installer. Because the Microsoft installer cannot uninstall the EasySetup version, the user has to do it by hand.

The problem is now resolved for the future. Since the certification, I created the setup with a Visual Studio Installer project. Unfortunately, Microsoft buried a serious bug that was already causing problems for many developers. Now I've programmed my installer with the MSI XML programming language and now it works perfectly.

So just install the update over the old neXt. The updated files are now overwritten reliably.
