First, I would like to note,.. there doesn't seem to be any other THreads in the English Forum, other than the news category. My other choices were FAQ, and Suggested Features. :)

I was hoping that some others could help to confirm how realistic NeXt simulator is at simulating, Big knife Edge, wide, Circles!

I've been flying for a couple of years now,.. I have a smaller back yard, which has been shrinking as I moved up from MiniCP, to 120, to 450,. G380 and, now G570,.. so most of my real life flight has been in a smaller 60-70 yard area surrounded by trees. I need to go out and find a few big fields to fly, but, until then, anytime I want to practice big knife edge circles,.. I have to go way up above the trees, and still can only go so wide. Along w being nervous of failures, and dumbthumbs, I do spend more time with sims, practicing, and learning more advanced 3d moves. I have tried 5 of the most popular sims on the market,.. and NeXt is my fav!

My question, is about, how accurate is NeXT with its Knife Edge circles?

Pheonix,.. I ditched, because I tried RF7 at the Toy Store, and it felt so much more realistic as far as the collective, mostly. After a while of that,.. I wanted to see if others had better sound, cause it was not realistic. From there I tried Heli-X,.. sound was better, but graphics seemed too choppy,. and something didn't feel right,.. NeXt,... Oh Wow!!!!!!! SOund was Amazing!!!,.. blade pops felt right!,...Collective was a bit twitchy,.. and hard to control,.. compared to RF,. but that Does feel more realistic! Ok,.. Sweet!!! My Fav!!! I saw, that AccuRC had a new sim,.. and it looked pretty realistic on the preview vid,... so I picked up a copy,.. something about it just Didn't feel right,.. still can't put my finger on What it is,... but something needs tweaking,.. anyhow,.. they are working on that one,.. so I am beta testing for them to see how good it can get.

Anytime that I test ARC for a while,.. I go back to NeXt,.... and I'm sooo much happier, from the second I take off,... This sim is just so much more realistic! Blade sounds,..snappyness,.. and collective feel, that just makes it much more fun for me!!!

I did notice, that on ARC,.. I can fly big huge knife edge circles,.. around and around,.. like real heli vids have,.... it is not easy for me,.. but I can do it,.. and keep correcting to keep it in the circle. Now,.. w Next,.. I am having a much harder time with this,.. I can do half circle,. up to a full, and 3/4 of a circle,.. but somewhere around there, or anywhere in between,. I start to lose it,.. and can't seem to get it correct,...(it's not the same place every time)! However,.. in real life,.. I can seem to do small ones way up high, pretty good,.. and I can do them in RF,. and ARC pretty good,... sometimes 10 in a row, before messing up,... but in NeXT,.. although, I am getting closer, and better at it,... I can't seem to get in a pocket, and keep it going! Is that me,.. or is there a small bug in Next, or is it that much harder irl, than it is in other sims?
