Hi,

Is it possible to disable the pilot collision causing a "crash" or add an option to do so?

Thanks!

Hi,

that's because we believe that you should be concerned about your life in simulator training.

Maybe it's a good idea to add a hidden switch somewhere to disable the pilot collision. Then only a few people can disable this.

Do you really need this switch?

All the best,
Klaus

Hi Klaus,

Rest assured I do not fly into myself with my real helis :)

I only ask as I am one of those people who have *really* struggled with sims over the years. I tried Phoenix, AccuRC and then Next. Next was the first sim that, right after installation, I could just *fly*.

One of the big issues I have with sims is the mixture of camera movement, not knowing exactly how far the model is, where the ground is, etc. When practicing things, I like to stay close on the sim and I just find it annoying to crash if I "hit" myself.

It is only a minor thing and certainly won't stop me using Next :)

Hi Ferdey,

good arguments. Now I have added that option to Settings > Physics.

It is available in the latest beta and the next official version (v1.581 and higher).

All the best,
Klaus
