Rate mode gyro (instead of Heading hold)

Does anyone know if it is possible to fly with Rate gyro in neXT instead of Heading-Hold?

I fly scale helicopter. While HH mode is very useful, sometimes I prefer to switch to rate mode.

This operating mode is not available because it is not required for the typical 3D flight.

I can add this function to the wish list. Let me think about it. I know that only a few pilots use this mode.

Its a great idea actually, I was taught this way to a) setup my helis perfectly mechanical in rate but also b) when coming out of big air loops, certain maneouvers etc, you flick it out of HH, into rate as the tail 'wind mills' - if your heli is setup correctly, its very cool way to fly as well.

Hi,

I also would like to see this feature... as I don't fly 3D.

You said you would add it to the wish list and think about it... have you thought about it?

Would you implement gyro rate mode... please?
