JR DSX9 input problem

Hi, I have set up the demo and most seems to be working ok except the rudder which is showing as channel 5 on the input monitor.
When I move the left stick up the on-screen stick moves to the top and left, then going down moves to the bottom and right.

I have tried to find how to change the rudder input to channel 4 but cannot find a way. I am using the generic Feiying usb which works fine with RF and Accurc. Haven't flown for a while so I'm a bit rusty on the details of controller setup.

Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy,

- start neXt - CGM RC Flight Simulator
- press esc and change to the settings > input device tab

The input monitor window displays the incoming remote control signals. Up to 20 channels are possible depending on your dongle or adapter. Each function (collective pitch, rudder, aileron and elevator) should move a slider. If not, please follow the instructions below.

- then click on start calibration and follow the instructions there
- select your stick mode also in settings > output device

All the best,
Klaus

Hi Klaus, I've done those things many times but I cannot get the rudder to work properly, it is working on the #5 channel slider but will not move the stick on the onscreen monitor.

Any ideas?

Thanks

The sticks on the monitor can have a different input mode than the input control of the model.

There are two menus in the settings:
- The Input Device tab is required to configure the input control of the model.
- The Output Device tab is required to configure the output devices such as the sticks on the monitor.

Does this answer your question?

Hi Klaus, I bought an Orange DSM dongle and it seems ok now, finding the demo a bit short to get a proper feel for it.

Thanks
