New RX2SIM device

I got a new RX2SIM to operate my neXt simulator.My old one went out.I get an error message when I tried to get my neXt Simulator to work.It says Error:Your neXt serial number is already linked to another RX2SIM serial number.How do I fix this?On box of RX2SIM in lower left there is written SKU:RCWT300195.My serial # for neXT simulator is 216941.My registered name for the neXt is Christian Blom.The RX2SIM device has a flashing blue led on PPM.How do I make this go to a solid blue and get my simulater to work?Thanks-Chris Blom

Hi Chris,

since you have switched the neXt license to dongle mode, your RX2SIM serial number has been linked in your license information on the registration server. Of course, you can't change the dongle's serial number as that would be a huge copy protection hole.

Fortunately, we've never had such a problem. You say your old RX2SIM is broken? Please send me your old RX2SIM so that I can reset your license. Then you have the choice whether you want to use the simulator with serial number / password activation or whether you switch it to dongle mode again (with your new RX2SIM).

Unfortunately I thru out the old RX2SIM in the garbage that was picked up last week.So does that mean I have to purchase a new neXT sim Online?

I have just removed your dongle serial number. Now you have to delete your prefs.ini file which you find in your documents folder, there in neXt. Only then you are able to register a new dongle.

Why the ppm led is blinking? it blinks while there is no valid input signal. Maybe you have to switch on your transmitter or your receiver has no signal?

I registered the new RX2SIM device.The transmitter is turned on.The transmitter acknowledges when the receiver is plugged in the dongle and the dongle is plugged into computer.The blue led PPM light is still flashing-anything else I can do?Maybe I check firmware version of receiver.

Your receiver is not delivering a valid signal.

Is the input mode of the RX2SIM wrong?
Does the receiver have a valid signal from the transmitter?
Does the receiver have the wrong output mode?

I got it working!I looked and saw my Serial link which listed:PPM Out/UDI Pin:Sat 1.I saw I connected RX2SIM to the Ext port instead of the SAT port of the receiver.Easy fix-Thanks for helping me out.Solid blue PPM Led light like it should be.

I forgot to mention the transmitter I`am using is a Jeti DS-14
