Yes, I'll do some tests with the Oculus as soon as possible.

Hi,

a beta with Oculus Rift support is online. We have tested with Oculus 0.8 Runtime and Oculus DK2 and DK1.

Hi,

the HTC Vive will also be supported. I'll build this with Unity5. :-)

The beta was built with Unity4.7. That's the reason why this is not working with the HTC Vive.

All the best,
Klaus

Hi,

until now there is no runtime for Linux. The runtime is these part which was programmed by Oculus.

All the best,
Klaus

I have just downloaded the beta version, I have a Vive headset, how do I run on the Vive? When I tried the demo I just saw the model running on my monitor. Thank you, -greg

The neXt 1.445 Beta for Oculus is not compatible to the HTC because I used only Oculus libraries for building it. At the moment I'm working on a new build which supports also the HTC. Should be online in a few days.

You can download it then here: http://www.cgm-online.com/rc-heli-simula...nload-beta.html

Unfortunately the 'neXt - CGM rc Heli Simulator VR (v1.446, 9-6-2016)' is still not compatible to the HTC Vive. I think, the Unity3D crew has forgotten to add these drivers. Just googled for it and saw that I have to add them manually. But I don't like to make three builds in future. So, I'm waiting with the HTC until Unity3D has fixed this.

The version 1.446 is compatible to the Oculus Rift and downward compatible to the Oculus developer hardware 1 and 2. Simply install the latest Oculus runtime. Open the Oculus settings, section 'General' and enable there 'Unknown Sources: Allow apps that have not been reviewed by Oculus to run on my Rift.'.

Unity is the perfect engine for the vive. Please add support. Vive support would make switch over from Phoenix.
