Apologies if this is covered somewhere already but I would like to know if there are details about VR somewhere: PC system requirements, how to set up the required software, anything else a new user needs to know about using the VR version. I have a local friend that has helped me but without him, I'd have no idea what was needed. I looked but did not see anything about VR on the website other than it exists.

The configuration depends on your VR device.

Oculus: Install the Oculus software and configure your VR device there. Then start the neXt by clicking on the desktop icon 'neXt Oculus'. You do not have to configure anything there.

OpenVR: Install Steam and the Steam VR Plugin. Configure your VR device in Steam. Then start the neXt by clicking on the desktop icon 'neXt OpenVR'. There is nothing to configure. However, if you are loading an X3D scene for the first time, you should look at the 'Settings > Camera' tab and adjust the vertical position of your camera.
